I'm 30 pregnant with my second child. My first time i was 25 and pregnant. I worked, worked out, went out with friends. My life wasn't disturbed at all. This time around, i can barely keep my head off the pillow. I eat right, i actually lost 40 lbs before conceiving. So I've been living a pretty healthy lifestyle. I've always heard this time can be brutal... but honestly thought i was different based on my first pregnancy. I know... so naive. I'm 7 weeks along and for the last 2 weeks i feel like i have the Flu. Please tell me it's something i can do to combat some of these symptoms. Ginger tea ain't doing it
The CDC noted that vomiting and diarrhea can be symptoms of the flu, too, but are seen more often in children, rather than adults. But if you're feeling sick, look for other signs of influenza like muscle aches and fever before panicking. 3 Headache Aches and pains are notorious flu symptoms, and the CDC mentioned that headaches are common with the flu. Headaches can also be common in early pregnancy, as mild but frequent headaches can be a result of your body's increasing blood volume, as noted by Parents. But again, if you're not experiencing a lot of other signs of influenza, these are most likely pregnancy symptoms — if you've missed your period. Risa Klein, OB-GYN, tells Romper that other signs like "missing a period, breast tenderness, areola darkening, rashes, and uterine enlargement accompany early signs of pregnancy, " but wouldn't be common with the flu. Its been affecting some women's monthly cycles (Google that or head to CovidVaccinated for a great read, even postmenopausal women are reporting bleeding as a result of the vax). Not enough info out now as to why this is happening- again, surprise. But now that I've brought that up, my skepticism and alarm over this symptom, that was never asked about in the trials btw, I'm sure is simply "fearmongering". Obviously don't want to divulge that info at work. I had a miscarriage earlier this year that my boss had to be told about bc I was out for a week recovering/surgery etc, despite that he periodically asks my vax status. Thought he could read between the lines with part of my reasoning, but guess not? Which irritates the living hell out of me, nobody seems to look past what the media and other people parrot to them. Get the vaccine if you want it. More power to you. I'm opting out based on my own circumstances and comfort level. But yet somehow thats not good enough. Sorry, rant over but any polite way to give reasoning and shut the conversation down permanently, all while keeping my job, is appreciated.

Throughout the day I experienced fatigue and like a woozy headed feeling. Then it would go away. I assumed I was getting sick since it's going around but I'm not totally convinced. My symptoms aren't progressing. It's the same as yesterday with a sore throat and fatigue. Then at times I feel fine. My question is, could it be that I'm not sick and these are just early pregnancy symptoms? I don't remember anything like this with my first fatigue. Has anyone experienced this?

I have already taken Tylenol, which my doctor told me was safe to do so my last pregnancy 😳 Yeah, I plan on calling my doc in the morning since it's the weekend, but not sure what to do in the meantime since I just checked and I have a fever. I'm also a little nervous because I've had 2 miscarriages before this pregnancy, and my doctor told me to call right away the next time I get pregnant so that they can monitor me. But of course, I would find out on a Saturday.
